Responsibilities
- Own and operate Kubernetes infrastructure managed via Porter orchestrator.
- Apply and enforce Kubernetes best practices for resource management and deployment.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable and safe delivery.
- Drive the revamp of data infrastructure using Apache Iceberg.
- Own the data modeling layer from ingestion to consumption-ready models.
- Collaborate with BizOps to translate data needs into reliable models.
- Optimize query performance and maintain ingestion pipelines.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of deep expertise in Kubernetes and production operations.
- Strong experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn modern data engineering practices.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to optimize queries.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ownership mindset to manage systems from design to operation.
