Responsibilities
- Partner with product teams to architect and build foundational infrastructure for Ema's products.
- Design, develop, and deploy highly available, scalable multi-tenant SaaS solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Use Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and Istio to provision, configure, deploy, and resiliently operate infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure tasks and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Cloud Build.
- Write Shell and Python scripts and collaborate with software developers to improve service interfaces and developer experience.
- Design observability solutions with Prometheus and Grafana, including alerting and error tracking through Sentry and PagerDuty.
- Identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities while maintaining security and compliance standards.
- Deploy testing frameworks such as Selenium for end-to-end, integration, and system testing.
- Engineer multi-cloud data-plane networking using private links and centralized cloud-provider control planes.
- Monitor system health, analyze performance metrics, optimize database queries, and support event-driven data and machine learning infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role, preferably with Azure.
- Experience designing and deploying highly available, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions on public clouds.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, deployment, CI/CD, observability, security, and authentication.
- Experience with air-gapped cloud environments or private clouds.
- Experience with global teams and the ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
- Preferred experience with MLOps, event-driven data and machine learning infrastructure, streaming pipelines, database systems, and model training.
- Preferred experience with multi-cloud networking, private links, query optimization, data normalization, and performance improvement techniques.
- Preferred experience with end-to-end, integration, and system testing frameworks.
