Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS infrastructure across multi-account organizations and account-per-customer hosting environments.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules, infrastructure-as-code patterns, landing-zone capabilities, account vending, and environment promotion workflows.
- Design DNS, certificate, networking, and customer-facing cloud architectures using Route 53, ACM, and VPC.
- Build and secure GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
- Operate ECS Fargate, EKS, Lambda, and RDS PostgreSQL workloads at production scale.
- Maintain OpenTelemetry-based observability with OpenObserve and CloudWatch, integrate PagerDuty, and handle incident response and root cause analysis.
- Drive FinOps initiatives including tagging enforcement, right-sizing, Savings Plans coverage, and cost anomaly follow-up.
- Implement IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, encryption, vulnerability scanning, patching, policy checks, and compliance automation.
- Establish governance and validation patterns for AI-assisted infrastructure changes and mentor engineers in safe AI usage.
- Partner with product teams, architects, and global leadership on self-service deployment, migrations, platform standards, and technical reviews.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering with substantial AWS depth.
- Expertise with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, VPC, and Route 53 in multi-account environments.
- Strong Terraform expertise, including designing reusable modules for other teams.
- Software engineering ability in Python or a similar language for platform automation.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD systems and secure pipeline design.
- Experience designing observability with OpenTelemetry or an equivalent and operating under SLOs.
- Strong knowledge of networking, DNS, TLS, and cloud security architecture.
- Experience collaborating effectively across distributed global teams.
- Experience designing validation gates and reusable patterns for AI-assisted engineering work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, CKA, or Terraform Associate certifications.
- Preferred experience includes AWS Control Tower, landing zones, account vending, multi-tenant SaaS or account-per-customer hosting, ERP migration, FinOps, and governed AI/LLM workloads.
