Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and improve the Kubernetes-based internal platform, including cluster management, networking, security posture, and day-2 operations.
- Develop self-service capabilities, golden paths, and automation that simplify workflow onboarding and operations for internal teams.
- Support reliable production hosting of AI-driven internal workflows at scale.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation, and lead postmortems for owned incidents.
- Contribute to reliability practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and operational runbooks.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code practices, and change and release management.
- Build and maintain observability and monitoring coverage for owned systems.
- Mentor junior engineers, contribute to design and code reviews, and align India-team implementation with global platform strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, networking, security, and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating large-scale internal infrastructure platforms in a public cloud, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar scripting and programming languages.
- Exposure to or interest in infrastructure hosting AI/ML or agentic workflows.
- Experience with observability platforms and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or APM tools.
- Computer Science degree or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and work in a fast-moving environment with evolving processes and tooling.
- Preferred: internal developer platform concepts, platform-as-a-product thinking, AI agent orchestration, vector databases, model routing, inference infrastructure, multi-cloud environments, service mesh technologies, GitOps tooling, Kubernetes or cloud certifications, and enterprise-scale SCM administration.
