Responsibilities
- Manage and improve our fleet of clusters running in multiple regions.
- Write Golang and use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Rethink infrastructure primitives, including virtual filesystems and low-level virtualization.
- Own the reliability and performance of our compute platform.
- Collaborate across teams to drive compute convergence at Vercel.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong preference for Golang.
- Deep experience with virtual machines, file systems, and Linux.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Familiarity with schedulers and orchestrators like Nomad or Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
