Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services in Go for AI infrastructure, networking, inference orchestration, and model lifecycle management.
- Implement secure and reliable gRPC and REST APIs and backend systems.
- Design and develop Kubernetes Operators for compute and networking resources.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and system evolution.
- Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and machine learning teams to deliver production-grade services.
- Promote code quality, observability, maintainability, and engineering best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers across multiple squads without direct reports.
Requirements
- Production experience developing systems in Golang.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying distributed systems and production APIs using gRPC and REST.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals, including Scheduler, CNI, Operators, CSI, and CAPI.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, observability tooling, security, and automation best practices.
- Infrastructure and networking knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, RBAC, and security best practices is preferred.
- Experience with Nvidia hardware and software, including GPU, Cumulus, and NVLink, is preferred.
