Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Kubernetes.
- Ensure cluster reliability through capacity planning, autoscaling, incident response, and post-mortems.
- Design and architect scalable infrastructure for AI-driven analytics and data processing.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, Terraform configurations, and multi-environment setups.
- Own monitoring and alerting across the stack using Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis storage systems.
- Support RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and Temporal message-broker and workflow infrastructure.
- Manage secrets, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, encryption, and other infrastructure security controls.
- Design and configure networks including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Monitor cloud costs, identify waste, right-size resources, and report on spending efficiency.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and use AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Hands-on experience with most of the stated stack, including AWS, Azure or GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub CI, Terraform, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, Temporal, Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Practical experience with Claude Code or agentic coding, including validating AI-generated code.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities in a startup environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for high-volume, high-stakes systems.
- Availability aligned with the Eastern Time Zone and fluency in English.
- Preferred: Golang or Python development background, HashiStack experience with Vault or Packer, ClickHouse administration, and experience supporting data-intensive pipelines.
