Responsibilities

  • Develop and refactor Terraform and CloudFormation Infrastructure-as-Code codebases, reusable modules, and standardized multi-cloud network patterns.
  • Design REST API integrations, middleware, and scripts for cloud providers and enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, GitHub, and BeyondTrust.
  • Implement self-service cloud provisioning and orchestration using ServiceNow, GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Terraform Cloud.
  • Maintain logging, monitoring, observability, configuration-as-code, patching, and development-team onboarding across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Execute proof-of-concept modernization initiatives involving legacy infrastructure, cloud technologies, and enterprise AI infrastructure.
  • Manage the governance, maintenance, lifecycle, and updates of cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
  • Implement IAM roles, security groups, CIS hardening, compliance controls, and automated security-policy enforcement.
  • Provide senior technical oversight, redundancy, mentoring, and Communities of Practice participation for DevOps engineers.
  • Collaborate with development, security, networking teams, external providers, and service teams on cloud initiatives, outage resolution, and service requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of related experience administering cloud environments or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise administering and configuring hybrid multi-cloud enterprise environments.
  • Advanced Terraform experience, including Terraform Cloud and GitHub integration, plus desirable AWS CloudFormation experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience developing REST API scripts or applications and integrating cloud platforms with ServiceNow, CMDBs, databases, and internal automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking, VPN tunnels, routing tables, direct connect tunnels, network security groups, cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and CIS compliance hardening.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ITSM integrations, and using Ansible for configuration as code.
  • Working knowledge of AI concepts and prompt engineering for cloud and automation workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver maintainable solutions; U.S. citizenship is required for federal contract access to sensitive government data.
