Responsibilities

Manage and improve AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Build and maintain scalable, resilient, and performant Kubernetes container environments.
Implement and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for reliable software deployment.
Develop scripts, tools, and infrastructure automation in Golang, Python, or Java.
Improve system observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in collaboration with development teams.
Maintain and enhance production system security, availability, and performance.
Collaborate with development, architecture, operations, and security teams on deployment, monitoring, and system architecture best practices.
Participate in an on-call rotation and provide occasional support outside business hours.

5+ years of experience in DevOps or related infrastructure engineering roles.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling and CI/CD pipelines, including strong knowledge of GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in scripting languages and cloud platforms, especially AWS.
Solid understanding of observability tools and techniques, including logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, including experience resolving complex infrastructure and application issues.
Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and multitasking skills.
AWS or DevOps-related certifications are a bonus.
Experience with Postgres, Elasticsearch, ActiveMQ, Kafka, GitOps, Flux, or Argo is a bonus.

Hybrid position located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Participation in an on-call rotation and occasional support outside business hours are required.
