Responsibilities
- Translate business and product requirements into end-to-end solution designs spanning multiple frontend and backend services.
- Design microservice and API architectures and define service boundaries using Domain-Driven Design principles.
- Architect event-driven integrations with Azure Service Bus, including message schemas, topic and subscription models, and error handling.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices across React, .NET, and Python teams.
- Embed security, scalability, resiliency, and observability requirements into solution designs.
- Lead architecture and design reviews for features, technical initiatives, and third-party integrations.
- Create and maintain architecture decision records, high-level design documents, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Evaluate emerging technologies through proof-of-concepts, technical assessments, and analysis reports.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering leads on technical roadmaps.
- Provide technical mentorship to senior engineers and conduct design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering or architecture experience, including at least five years in a solution architect role on complex, multi-service platforms.
- Expertise designing microservices architectures and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Deep hands-on experience with React and .NET and/or Python.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, partitioning, indexing, performance optimization, and persistence patterns for distributed cloud-native applications.
- Experience with observability and operational excellence, including monitoring, distributed tracing, telemetry, and production diagnostics.
- Strong Azure experience, including Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps.
- Advanced knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and distributed systems patterns.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions using AI agent frameworks, Azure AI services, and LLMs/SLMs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and fine-grained authorization in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API-led connectivity, event-driven messaging, asynchronous communication, data synchronization, interoperability, and integration platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting designs to senior technology stakeholders.
- Professional services or B2B SaaS product experience is advantageous.
