Base Salary
$190k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI systems supporting matchmaking, ranking, and automation across the Paraform marketplace.
- Develop LLM-driven retrieval pipelines, agentic workflows, and AI-powered automation for recruiters and companies.
- Own AI systems end to end, from data pipelines and prompt or model design through deployment, monitoring, and production iteration.
- Collaborate with product, machine learning engineering, and full-stack teams to ship AI capabilities that improve marketplace metrics.
- Design evaluation frameworks measuring real-world performance, reliability, and business outcomes.
- Define best practices for operating production AI systems while balancing model quality, cost, latency, and maintainability.
- Improve how AI is integrated into product experiences across the platform.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience at a growing AI-native startup, such as a Series A–D company.
- Experience working on products serving a large number of users rather than a single enterprise customer.
- Strong experience with Python and TypeScript.
- Experience building agentic systems that produce real business or user outcomes.
- Experience building and shipping AI systems used by real people.
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical partners and work effectively in ambiguous 0-to-1 environments.
- Experience with LLM-powered applications, retrieval systems, tool-using agents, or AI-driven automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with traditional machine learning techniques such as ranking, recommendation, or classification is helpful.
