Responsibilities
- Build, deliver, and maintain reliable, scalable, secure infrastructure platforms and API solutions.
- Provide L2/L3 support for infrastructure and application stacks and manage incidents, problems, and changes using ITIL-aligned processes and SLAs.
- Develop infrastructure as code, automation, secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security controls, and release automation.
- Monitor systems, resolve vulnerabilities and outages, improve mean time to resolution, and drive reliability and release excellence.
- Design and implement APIs, RESTful services, integration contracts, distributed systems, shared platform capabilities, and data or domain models.
- Operate cloud, container, deployment, and operating-system environments, including patching cycles and Blue-Green deployments.
- Create and maintain runbooks, knowledge-base articles, support documentation, and compliance evidence.
- Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, security, platform, and QA teams and contribute to technical designs and proof-of-concept work.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, team growth, engineering excellence, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- In-depth infrastructure engineering experience, including infrastructure as code, automation, design governance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Shell scripting, Datadog, Python, APIs, Docker, containers, ECR, EKS, and GitLab.
- Programming experience in Python or Java, with knowledge of JavaScript, Cucumber, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and NPM preferred.
- Experience with Apigee Edge, BusinessWorks, TIBCO EMS, MQ, Snyk, Qualys, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Nexus.
- Strong AWS cloud experience, including EC2, ECR, EKS, S3, CloudFormation, and networking, plus database design and SQL.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems, system design, software architecture, Helm charts, and deployment strategies.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, token exchange, policy systems, delegated administration, or identity data modelling.
- Experience building production services, distributed systems, shared platforms, APIs, RESTful services, authentication, authorization, and identity-management solutions.
- Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into designs, prototypes, and production-ready solutions and communicate technical decisions clearly.
- Familiarity with AI engineering tools, MCP, agent skills, and other agent integration concepts.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and time zones, support engineers through feedback and knowledge sharing, and apply sound engineering judgment.
- Understanding of enterprise security, risk, governance, regulatory requirements, ITIL-aligned processes, and service-level agreements.
