Responsibilities
- Build a global, secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud platform using Kubernetes in AWS.
- Develop and evolve Kubernetes operators and other cloud-native automation.
- Build internal products and tools that enable engineering teams to create and maintain cloud resources autonomously.
- Build the Istio Service Mesh multi-cluster global platform.
- Improve observability, reliability, and cost awareness.
- Support engineering teams with adoption of platform products and tools.
- Define standards, RFCs, guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven technical experience with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, and software engineering.
- Proven technical experience with Istio Service Mesh.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
- Solid knowledge of observability systems.
- Experience with operator-managed infrastructure as code, preferably Crossplane or Kubernetes Operators.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience solving complex problems.
- CNCF Kubernetes certification such as CKA, CKS, or CKAD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Prior experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and software engineering is mandatory for this role.
