Responsibilities
- Architect and lead distributed compute platforms and application services.
- Develop software using Python, Rust, and/or Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and engineering teams to identify solutions, test changes, and deploy them.
- Implement infrastructure as code, configuration management, CI/CD, and automation.
- Build and operate container-orchestrating systems.
- Implement and correlate telemetry using monitoring and observability tools.
- Troubleshoot, debug, document, and support systems through an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in software development using Python, Rust, and/or Java.
- Experience with cloud compute environments such as OpenStack, AliCloud, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management, CI/CD, and automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Preferred: BA/BS degree in Computer Science.
- Preferred: proficiency with Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus; Docker and Kubernetes; Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps; and UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Conversational and written English proficiency and strong written and verbal communication skills.
