Base Salary

$140k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and own full-stack product features from data models and backend systems through user-facing interfaces.
Partner with attorneys and AI engineers to translate legal workflows and review playbooks into software.
Make architecture and tooling decisions that support rapid development and future growth.
Write maintainable code, support production reliability, and own features through deployment and ongoing use.
Contribute to engineering culture, standards, and hiring as the team expands.

One to three years of experience building and shipping production software, ideally at an early-stage company or as a founder.
Full-stack development skills including TypeScript, React, a modern backend stack, and relational databases.
Hands-on experience building with AI or large language models through professional or personal projects.
Experience owning features end to end, building data models and user-facing interfaces, and making engineering trade-offs under time constraints.
Strong product judgment, communication skills, and comfort working with ambiguity in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
Legal technology, contract management, document processing, or experience working directly with domain experts is helpful.

Salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 annually.
On-site in San Francisco, California, with an in-person schedule of six days per week.
