Base Salary

$110k - $130k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and deploy infrastructure for the Machine Learning Platform at scale.
  • Build infrastructure to train and test algorithms for real-time content recommendations.
  • Enhance the ML platform's CI/CD and integration testing capabilities.
  • Promote developer productivity by maximizing self-sufficiency in building scalable applications.
  • Support and demonstrate understanding of the value of journalistic independence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in MLOps or DevOps, operating large systems in production.
  • Experience deploying and monitoring systems using cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
  • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language like Python or Go.
