[ECA] Embedded Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities
- Run functional, regression, and automation tests for automotive safety systems.
- Analyze requirements, design test cases, investigate defects, and report findings.
- Set up and maintain SIL and HIL test environments and LabCar test-bench hardware.
- Troubleshoot ECU connections, wiring, hardware, communication, and integration issues.
- Support debugging involving CAN, LIN, Ethernet, measurement devices, and test automation infrastructure.
- Coordinate team activities and handle daily testing work independently.
Requirements
- Major in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics-Telecommunication, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive, or a related field.
- At least 0.5 years of software testing experience.
- Knowledge of the software life cycle, microcontrollers, embedded systems, electronic hardware, circuits, sensors, actuators, and automotive ECU architecture.
- Strong proficiency in one of C, C++, Python, VBA, or Perl scripting, with API programming knowledge.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, hardware schematics, pinouts, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and/or Automotive Ethernet communication protocols.
- Ability to diagnose hardware issues using oscilloscopes, CAN analyzers, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Good English communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include automotive domain knowledge, emulator or simulator exposure, debugging experience, UML and design knowledge, ISTQB Foundation certification, and Chinese language skills.
