Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded AUTOSAR Classic BSW and low-level software in C/C++ for ADAS ECUs.
  • Configure, integrate, and debug AUTOSAR modules focused on diagnostics, CAN communication, failure management, and PDM.
  • Integrate base software with radar, camera, sensor-fusion, and other ADAS applications in collaboration with system, hardware, and application teams.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, architecture and design, implementation, unit and integration testing, debugging, maintenance, and vehicle testing.
  • Optimize software performance and memory usage for resource-constrained embedded systems.
  • Conduct code reviews and follow Bosch coding guidelines, MISRA rules where applicable, and software engineering best practices.
  • Support SIL/HIL testing and use CANoe, CANalyzer, debuggers, emulators, and simulators for development and issue resolution.
  • Support ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE compliance, work products, and assessments.
  • Create and maintain software architecture, design, interface, and stakeholder documentation.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers and distributed global teams on software-hardware integration and technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-10 years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Strong C and C++ programming skills for embedded systems, preferably in the automotive domain.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR Classic architecture and BSW, plus Automotive SPICE knowledge.
  • Understanding of microcontrollers, low-level drivers, and embedded RTOS concepts.
  • Experience or familiarity with vehicle diagnostics, fault-management software, AUTOSAR DEM and DCM, CAN/Ethernet/LIN communication, and automotive protocols.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14229, ISO 15765, ISO 14230, ISO 26262, CANoe, CANalyzer, and issue or requirement tracking tools such as Jira and DOORS.
  • Prior experience with ADAS-related ECUs, including radar, camera, sensor-fusion, braking, or steering controllers, is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate in global teams.
  • Self-driven, proactive, quality-focused, disciplined, collaborative, and able to take end-to-end ownership of modules or features.
