Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and test plans.
- Perform functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, and system configurations.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, business users, clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project discussions.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience testing web applications.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, including creating test cases and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Experience with at least one test automation tool or framework.
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and defect management processes.
- Experience writing test cases and scenarios and executing test plans.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, business users, and technical teams.
- Exposure to the ServiceNow platform or ServiceNow projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL concepts is preferred.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI is preferred.
- Experience with test automation tools or ServiceNow ATF is preferred.
- ServiceNow CSA certification or willingness to pursue certification is preferred.
