Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and test plans.
- Perform functional, system integration, regression, web application, manual, and automated testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, and system configurations.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, business users, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure solution quality.
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Participate in project discussions and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience testing web applications and performing both manual and automated testing.
- Experience creating test cases and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Experience with at least one test automation tool or framework.
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and defect management processes.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, business users, and technical teams.
- ServiceNow exposure, ITSM and ITIL knowledge, API testing experience, ServiceNow ATF experience, or ServiceNow CSA certification are preferred or advantageous.
