Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, propose, and refactor applications and integrations that allow Windows desktop operators to use custom production equipment.
- Prototype and refine software based on user feedback, industry standards, and business needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Production, Hardware, and UX teams to deliver streamlined operational software.
- Develop user experiences using native and cross-platform technologies.
- Build knowledge of YubiKey security technologies and protocols including FIDO2/WebAuthn, FIDO U2F, and PIV.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Understanding of operating-system internals and services, including synchronization primitives, file-system access, threading, thread safety, and logging.
- Experience building system software with modern C++, C#, or .NET.
- Hands-on experience with REST API integrations and AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or ChatGPT.
- Architecture and software design experience, plus knowledge or experience with asymmetric cryptography.
- Experience with Avalonia UI, WPF, XAML, or comparable UI frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and GCP or a comparable cloud environment.
- Experience with C/C++ libraries, PostgreSQL, system-level services, operating-system APIs, serial ports or block devices, and binary serialization protocols is preferred.
- Experience developing software to control robotics, such as orchestration engines for robotic arms, is a bonus.
