Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise software applications supporting GEOINT missions.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Develop full-stack web applications using Python, Java, JavaScript, Django, REST APIs, AJAX, jQuery, and related technologies.
Design relational database solutions and RESTful APIs supporting enterprise integrations.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, software engineers, and system architects to define technical solutions and priorities.
Estimate development efforts, participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, and support continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects across multiple environments.
Develop automated testing solutions and support CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain source code repositories with Git and GitLab.
Support deployments across Windows and Linux environments.
Apply GEOINT knowledge to validate functionality, troubleshoot operational issues, and optimize data workflows.
Define software architectures, coding standards, and development practices with technical leadership.
Mentor junior software engineers and provide technical guidance.
Support cloud-based application development and migration initiatives.
Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and mission requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline with 8+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience, or a master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
Experience developing enterprise applications with Python, Java, JavaScript, and object-oriented programming principles.
Experience developing web applications with Django, REST APIs, AJAX, and related web technologies.
Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, and relational database design.
Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple efforts in a fast-paced contracting environment.
Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred: master's degree in a related technical field.
Preferred: experience supporting GEOINT, Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or national security programs.
Preferred: experience as a Scrum Master or Agile team lead.
Preferred: experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks, client-server and MVC architectures, cloud-native applications, and commercial cloud platforms.
Preferred: ability to train end users and provide technical assistance over the phone.
