Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions.
- Write, review, debug, and maintain high-quality production code.
- Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting practices.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring remediation and improve application and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluations of external vendors, startups, internal teams, and architectural designs.
- Coach engineers on secure, compliant, and responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including advanced Python web framework experience with Django or Flask and React.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred: ability to implement business solutions, willingness to learn new technologies, and basic or intermediate Oracle Database knowledge.
