Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend services and distributed systems.
- Architect and implement microservices, event-driven solutions, and enterprise-grade APIs.
- Build and optimize solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, Kafka, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, architecture guidance, and engineering team mentorship.
- Drive platform reliability, security, performance optimization, and observability.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams on technical delivery.
- Support ReactJS frontend development and cross-platform integration.
- Champion CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containerization, and cloud-native practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, and ReactJS.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture using Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, API security, authentication, and authorization.
- Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP, with Azure preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and driving technical delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include experience building high-scale cloud-native production platforms and knowledge of scalability, resilience, performance tuning, system observability, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and mentoring.
