Responsibilities
- Build high-performance, scalable, complex, and distributed systems end to end.
- Develop data products and features using the underlying Webex Data Analytics Platform.
- Design and write code that reflects product requirements and functionality.
- Contribute to technology, algorithm, and product decisions.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, proof-of-concepts, and show-and-tell sessions.
- Collaborate with development, test, and cross-technology teams on development strategies and plans.
Requirements
- At least 12+ years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong experience with Java, Python, Go, or other modern programming technologies.
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Codex in design, development, and testing.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and SOA architectures.
- Experience building large asynchronous task systems and scalable distributed systems.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture and its principles.
- Preferred experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Preferred experience with Docker or other configuration management tools.
- Preferred hands-on experience with RESTful web services and responsive web design patterns.
- Preferred expertise with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Preferred familiarity with 12-Factor app development principles.
