Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot global IAM services and highly scalable authentication platforms.
  • Integrate IAM solutions across the organization and align IAM infrastructure with current and future business requirements.
  • Administer platform upgrades, migrations, patching, certificate management, and configuration changes.
  • Apply SRE principles to improve platform architecture, resiliency, scalability, security, availability, and performance.
  • Create automation solutions to reduce operational overhead and improve reliability.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts for IAM platforms.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, post-incident reviews, and continuous service improvement.
  • Resolve complex issues escalated by customers, support teams, and engineers.
  • Document technical processes and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience with IAM operations, Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical production environments and troubleshooting distributed applications in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of IAM platforms, authentication, authorization, federation, access management, enterprise security standards, and related best practices.
  • Hands-on experience administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting Transmit Security or related authentication products.
  • Intermediate Windows and Linux, including Red Hat, operating system administration skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as PowerShell, Python, Shell, or Perl.
  • Familiarity with Splunk, Grafana, ServiceNow, Jira, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with IAM platform lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, certificate management, and configuration changes.
  • Preferred experience with Transmit Security, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Okta, or Azure AD.
  • Preferred knowledge of SSO, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and MFA technologies.
  • Preferred experience creating automation scripts and operational tooling.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices is desirable.
  • ITIL, CISSP, Security+, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Strong communication, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, prioritization, and customer-interaction skills.
