Responsibilities
- Build and deploy predictive models such as user churn, lifetime value, and payer propensity models, from Databricks exploration through real-time serving.
- Develop and maintain production ML pipelines with Airflow, Spark/Databricks, and AWS, including training, validation gates, and model promotion.
- Monitor production models for calibration, drift, and business impact, including measurement through A/B tests.
- Contribute to generative AI initiatives involving internal analytics and configuration APIs, evaluation sets, observability, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Build tools and context that enable coding agents to work effectively with the codebase.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Backend, SDK, AdOps, and Product teams to turn models into product functionality.
- For Senior level, lead initiatives end to end, guide technical decisions, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar, including taking models to production and maintaining them there.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, including experience with pandas or Polars and scikit-learn.
- Experience with classification, regression, and ranking models, with judgment in selecting models for different problems.
- Solid statistical foundation including probability calibration, imbalanced classification, evaluation metrics beyond accuracy, and A/B testing.
- Practical LLM experience with tool calling, prompt design, agent-output evaluation, and coding agents.
- Familiarity with Spark/Databricks, Airflow, and AWS data platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot models and data in production.
- Strong learning motivation, ownership of results, and ability to adapt to new domains and tools.
- For Senior level, 5+ years of experience plus a track record of leading initiatives from problem definition through production impact measurement, guiding technical decisions, and mentoring engineers.
- Experience in AdTech, mobile games, or app monetization is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of reinforcement learning techniques such as multi-armed and contextual bandits is desirable.
- Experience with Pydantic AI, LangGraph, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) is desirable.
- Fluent Spanish is required.
