Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, test, document, and maintain modular and resource-efficient backend software.
- Maintain Java-based microservices supporting the company’s cloud-hosted payments platform.
- Participate in code reviews and apply standards for software quality, security, and correctness.
- Perform manual and automated operational procedures and ongoing maintenance for runtime systems.
- Contribute to software and systems architecture decisions.
- Recommend continuous improvements to the product and software delivery process.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development or programming experience.
- In-depth understanding of distributed systems.
- Strong working experience with Java 8 or later, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Working knowledge of a modern software development lifecycle methodology such as Scrum.
