Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient, scalable database solutions using MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, and perform database tuning and server configuration.
- Develop ETL extraction, transformation, and loading processes using ADF and SSIS while maintaining data integrity.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports based on customer requirements.
- Analyze database performance using Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar tools and implement tuning strategies.
- Conduct impact analysis and resolve production issues within specified SLAs.
- Use Git and SVN for version control of database scripts and configurations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams using Jira for story mapping, tracking, and issue resolution.
- Document database architecture, processes, and configurations and provide root-cause analyses for database issues.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Extensive experience with stored procedure development and performance fine-tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL, MS SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Working knowledge of C# and ASP.NET web application development.
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premises databases and SaaS application development.
- Ability to learn new concepts and support continuous learning.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
