Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and APIs.
- Build secure, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain AWS-based microservices and serverless solutions.
- Implement API authentication and authorization using OAuth, Okta, and JWT.
- Monitor application performance using Splunk, Honeycomb, and CloudWatch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Support production applications and drive service reliability.
- Manage and refine monitoring dashboards and influence technical decisions through stakeholder collaboration.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in application development, system analysis, or database management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, a B.E./B.Tech, or a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
- Strong AWS experience, including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, and ECS.
- Working knowledge of Splunk, Honeycomb, and CloudWatch.
- Understanding of API security using OAuth, Okta, and JWT.
- Experience with test automation using TDD, BDD, and Cucumber.
- Experience with Java 17, Python 3.9+, and Spring Boot 3.0+.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
