Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate full-stack capabilities spanning backend services, frontend experiences, and data pipelines.
- Build and scale Java and Python backend services and well-documented REST APIs with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot production services on Kubernetes and Docker.
- Develop and operate distributed, high-throughput ingestion, streaming, and storage systems using Kafka and ClickHouse.
- Develop reusable frontend components with ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Design and integrate AI-powered features, LLM-based capabilities, agents, MCP, retrieval, and agentic workflows into products.
- Own instrumentation, observability, testing, and performance at scale, and participate in design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong backend proficiency in Java and Python with hands-on REST API development experience.
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience deploying and operating production services.
- Experience designing distributed systems for scalability, fault tolerance, and messaging or streaming, including Kafka.
- Frontend experience with ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, AI agents, MCP, or agentic frameworks applied in production or product contexts.
- Experience with data stores and pipelines, including Kafka; ClickHouse experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
