Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate full-stack capabilities spanning frontend experiences, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Develop scalable Java and Python backend services and reliable, well-documented REST APIs.
- Build and operate distributed, high-throughput ingestion, streaming, and storage systems using Kafka and ClickHouse.
- Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot services on Kubernetes and Docker-based environments.
- Develop reusable frontend components with ReactJS or Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Design and integrate AI-powered features, LLM capabilities, and agentic workflows into products.
- Partner with product management, design, and engineering teams to take features from concept through production.
- Own instrumentation, observability, testing, performance, design reviews, and code reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong proficiency in both Java and Python with hands-on REST API development experience.
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience deploying and operating production services.
- Frontend experience with ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is desired.
- Experience designing distributed systems for scalability, fault tolerance, messaging, and streaming, including Kafka.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, AI agents, MCP, or agentic frameworks applied in production or product contexts.
- Knowledge of data stores and pipelines, with ClickHouse experience as a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development practices and CI/CD.
- Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
