Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate scalable, reliable, and distributed software systems.
- Own end-to-end technical solutions from architecture and design through development, deployment, and operational excellence.
- Lead architectural discussions and influence technical strategy and long-term system direction.
- Improve system performance, scalability, availability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, business teams, and customers to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
- Champion engineering best practices, quality, automation, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: knowledge of professional software engineering practices and experience delivering complex software systems to customers.
