Responsibilities
- Own software development tasks and topics in undefined ownership areas, driving small-to-medium initiatives.
- Design, build, deploy, and sustain robust backend and full-stack software solutions aligned with business and organizational objectives.
- Develop intelligent agent systems, prompt-engineering workflows, RAG systems, evaluation frameworks, and production safety measures.
- Architect and deploy scalable AWS solutions using serverless, containerized, and event-driven patterns.
- Implement testing, code quality, observability, infrastructure-as-code, and automated delivery practices.
- Address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and architectural challenges.
- Communicate with stakeholders, mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to organizational technical events.
- Plan and estimate work for small-to-medium tasks and ensure computer system validation compliance with GxP frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–8 years of experience independently managing end-to-end software development tasks and defining solutions for moderately complex problems.
- Strong backend and full-stack development skills with Python, R, and FastAPI.
- Experience with agent frameworks, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, vector stores, model evaluation, guardrails, PII/PHI handling, and injection defense.
- Experience architecting AWS solutions with Lambda, ECS Fargate, Bedrock, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge.
- Experience with Terraform, Docker, structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics, monitoring, and proactive alerting.
- Understanding of secure software development, software quality management, technical debt, performance optimization, and architectural design.
- Extensive computer system validation experience compliant with GxP frameworks including GCP, GMP, and GVP.
- Professional certifications are advantageous.
- Strong planning, estimation, problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and agile-working skills.
