Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own deployment and integration testing automation for bare-metal, on-premise systems across Crusoe’s AI Cloud.
- Build CI/CD platforms and tooling for testing, iterating, and deploying low-level systems and applications.
- Design and execute large-scale validation tests across multi-node virtualized GPU and CPU clusters.
- Maintain and scale bare-metal Linux configurations using configuration management and observability tooling.
- Create control applications for canary deployments, blue/green testing, and automatic rollback.
- Develop automation frameworks in Python or Go to provision, configure, and stress-test virtualized environments.
- Build automated test suites using fio, stress-ng, and iperf to evaluate performance and multi-tenant isolation.
- Enable stable infrastructure releases across multiple datacenters.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience and the ability to independently perform the responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience building and deploying automated integration testing for AI cloud environments, from low-level Linux systems through distributed control planes.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Postgres.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitLab tooling.
- Experience with one or more configuration management systems, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and/or Bash for complex cluster-wide automation.
- Knowledge of Linux kernel internals, PCIe topology, VFIO, HugePages, and IOMMU.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA CUDA/NCCL and/or AMD ROCm/RCCL in multi-node environments.
- Strong understanding of RDMA, RoCE, and InfiniBand in virtualized systems.
- Preferred experience with MNNVL, specialized AI fabric architectures, hardware-level debugging tools, performance profilers, and GPU device plugins.
