Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software and cloud solutions for digital transformation and business performance improvement.
- Design, code, test, review, debug, and maintain applications using Java, Python, C#.NET, and JavaScript.
- Manage application lifecycles and build CI/CD pipelines using cloud and DevOps tooling.
- Modernize and migrate enterprise-scale workloads on GCP, including application, database, and storage migrations.
- Build and manage containerized applications and orchestration environments using Docker and GKE.
- Implement infrastructure as code and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, and Config Connector.
- Develop backend services in Python and design REST APIs and API integrations.
- Manage cloud networking, security controls, service connectivity, observability, and SRE practices including SLI/SLO management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead process improvements, conduct code and technical reviews, mentor junior team members, and foster inclusive collaboration.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least four years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure engineering is required.
- At least four years of hands-on GCP experience, including enterprise-scale modernization or migration programs, is required.
- Strong proficiency with Docker, GKE, GKE Autopilot, Cloud Service Mesh or Anthos Service Mesh, Service Directory, Python, REST API design, and GCP migration tooling is required.
- Experience with schema conversion and database migration across heterogeneous and homogeneous sources is required.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Artifact Registry, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD, or Flux CD is required.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Config Connector is required.
- Experience with API integration testing and validation frameworks is required.
- Knowledge of advanced networking, cloud security, SRE, SLI/SLO management, and observability tooling is required.
- Strong Python and Bash/Shell scripting skills, Linux proficiency, and experience with the gcloud CLI are required.
- English oral and written proficiency, communication, leadership, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Preferred fields of study include Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, and Software Engineering.
- Preference is given to experience with ATDD, CI/CD, API Management, Microservices architecture, Agile methodologies, and client relationship development.
