Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain low-level system software for AR reference platforms.
- Contribute to bootloader, kernel, device-driver, and Android HAL subsystems.
- Develop software for both Android-based SoCs and MCU-based RTOS environments.
- Optimize power consumption, thermal envelope, and system stability.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering on schematic reviews, hardware bring-up, and software test plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in C/C++.
- At least 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- At least 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Git and Gerrit.
- Familiarity with Linux device drivers and Android.
- Ability to debug hardware using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and similar tools.
- A master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
