Base Salary
$145k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to infrastructure that scales Bubble applications of any size and complexity.
- Improve performance and reliability across backend services, efficiency, capacity management, and the data tier.
- Support observability efforts, implement SLOs, and surface system performance characteristics to users.
- Build and iterate on backbone services supporting billions of requests and arbitrary end-user applications.
- Contribute to the workflow engine and data tier for high-volume ingest, export, and workflows.
- Build foundational services and tools for next-generation cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in triage and on-call processes to diagnose and resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry experience as a software engineer, preferably in high-growth startups.
- Strong coding skills and problem-solving ability demonstrated through contributions to complex, high-traffic applications.
- Some understanding of scalable distributed systems and willingness to learn Node.js, Rust, PostgreSQL, and Terraform; AWS experience is a plus.
- Willingness to participate in on-call processes, take ownership, and execute priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teammates and managers.
