Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC, Spring Core, and related technologies.
- Implement and manage Docker containers, Docker Hub, and container registries to support deployment and scalability.
- Configure API gateways and implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Use Netflix Hystrix for fault tolerance, Eureka for service discovery, Apache Log4j for logging, JSON Web Tokens for secure data transmission, and Redis and EHCache for caching.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and SOAP services and integrate systems using Spring Integration.
- Manage build and dependency processes with Gradle and Maven.
- Write automated tests with Mockito and JUnit and participate in code reviews.
- Manage repositories with GitHub and use Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA for development and debugging.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, document technical specifications, and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver projects on schedule.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
- 10 to 12 years of experience as a developer or in a closely related software development role.
- Extensive experience with Docker, Docker Hub, container registries, API gateways, authentication and authorization, Netflix Hystrix, Eureka, Apache Log4j, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, JSON Web Tokens, Redis, Gradle, EHCache, Spring Integration, Java, JSON, Spring MVC, Spring Core, REST APIs, JUnit, Spring Framework, SOAP, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, GitHub, Mockito, and Maven.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and continuously learn.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
- Experience in asset and wealth management is a plus.
