Responsibilities
- Execute the product roadmap across assigned functional pods.
- Collaborate with product managers to understand business problems and user needs.
- Translate architectural designs into efficient, scalable code using Java.
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
- Optimize, refactor, and rewrite existing code while adding robust test coverage.
- Monitor and optimize component performance, costs, availability, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with customer-facing teams.
- Participate in on-call support and incident management.
- Build expertise through peer feedback and continuous learning.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience.
- Strong Core Java skills and understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and concurrent programming.
- Hands-on experience with web frameworks, APIs, and relational or non-relational databases.
- Experience troubleshooting, profiling code, and optimizing performance at scale.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency with version control systems and secure coding practices.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with incident management and on-call support.
