Responsibilities
- Design and develop evolving solution products that meet business requirements and align with modern software engineering practices.
- Identify and implement appropriate technologies and platforms, including cloud workload placement, serverless, and containerization capabilities.
- Design secure, resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that balance technology risks, controls, costs, and business value.
- Modernize legacy platforms using reusable services, integration contracts, data models, and clear migration paths.
- Design workflows covering lifecycle statuses, exceptions, audit trails, service-level agreements, and monitoring.
- Provide architecture inputs and design artifacts for architecture, privacy, security, records management, and governance processes.
- Support operational teams with fault finding and performance issue analysis using available tooling.
- Explain architecture through diagrams, proof-of-concept findings, trade-offs, non-functional requirements, and implementation guidance.
- Advise stakeholders and senior management, manage risks and controls, and guide technical direction or specialist teams.
Requirements
- Experience designing solutions for core banking, API gateways, client onboarding, orchestration, integration, channels, or UX.
- Considerable workflow design knowledge across lifecycle status, exceptions, audit trails, service-level agreements, and monitoring.
- Experience modernizing legacy platforms with reusable services, integration contracts, data models, and defined migration paths.
- Familiarity with AI patterns including extraction, summarization, semantic search, workflow assistance, routing, triage, recommendations, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Direct experience with Java, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, cloud container platforms, CI/CD, observability, resiliency, scalability, and performance.
- Banking domain exposure is highly valued.
- Ability to demonstrate risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
