Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end IoT applications across frontend, backend, and cloud services.
- Build RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and/or .NET Core.
- Implement modern, responsive, reusable UI components with React.js.
- Design and deploy cloud-native services on AWS, including AWS Lambda and related services.
- Maintain code quality through clean architecture, unit testing, and code reviews.
- Implement and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and merge request workflows.
- Work with microservices, distributed architectures, and Kafka-based messaging and event-driven systems.
- Collaborate with product, UX, DevOps, and architecture teams and contribute to technical decisions and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js for frontend development.
- Solid backend development experience with Node.js and/or .NET Core.
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services, especially AWS Lambda.
- Understanding of microservices and distributed system design.
- Experience with event-driven and messaging systems; Kafka is preferred.
- Proficiency with GitLab, including CI/CD pipelines and merge request workflows.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of APIs, cloud environments, and DevOps concepts.
- Ability to work independently with a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with IoT platforms, device integration, or telemetry data processing is a plus.
- Exposure to infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and distributed systems is a plus.
- Experience working in agile or scaled agile environments is a plus.
