Responsibilities
- Partner with finance teams to translate business needs into scalable data, AI, and application solutions.
- Lead complex, cross-functional engineering builds from concept through production.
- Design and build data pipelines, machine learning and GenAI solutions, AI agents, and user-facing applications.
- Own architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, model evaluation, retraining, and the full solution lifecycle.
- Establish reusable pipeline templates, agent frameworks, shared components, application patterns, and UI design systems.
- Promote standards for code quality, testing, MLOps, security, maintainability, accessibility, and usability.
- Contribute to platform and technology decisions, mentor colleagues, conduct technical reviews, and serve as an escalation point for complex builds.
- Use AI-enabled development tools to improve delivery speed and quality.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in data, AI, or software engineering, including technical leadership or architecture ownership across a solution portfolio.
- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, data engineering, machine learning, GenAI, and LLM or agent frameworks.
- Experience building production-grade applications with strong application and front-end architecture capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure, including Azure DevOps or equivalent and Data, ML, and AI Ops practices.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data/AI engineering, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong stakeholder skills and the ability to work closely with finance teams.
- Finance process knowledge and relevant Azure, Databricks, or AI certifications are advantageous.
- Agile scrum master experience is advantageous.
- Successful completion of security clearance vetting and a health check, including drug tests, is required before employment begins.
