Responsibilities
- Develop the long-term architectural roadmap and establish scalable design standards, patterns, and guardrails.
- Own the ServiceNow platform by designing enterprise automations, workflows, custom applications, and integrations.
- Integrate ServiceNow with cloud, data, and application platforms using scalable API and event-driven designs.
- Guide technical decisions across teams and mentor engineers and architects.
- Strengthen DevOps practices through CI/CD pipelines, observability, operational readiness, and cost-optimized cloud usage.
- Embed performance, security, and reliability requirements into system designs and oversee release, change, and incident processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and improve H&M’s platform, data, automation, and engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture, or platform engineering.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow, cloud platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Broad knowledge across frontend, backend, mobile, infrastructure, and DevOps.
- Proven ability to design scalable systems and deliver high-impact platform solutions.
- Preferred: ServiceNow CIS–Data Foundations certification covering CMDB and CSDM.
- Preferred: experience building custom applications and API integrations.
- Strong ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and comfort with ambiguity.
