Responsibilities
- Design and optimize scalable DevOps architectures and CI/CD pipelines for software applications.
- Contribute to product and system specifications, software requirements, functional specifications, and architecture.
- Ensure requirements traceability throughout the development cycle.
- Design and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Architect and manage Docker and Kubernetes containerized environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery processes.
- Drive DevOps, automation, cloud infrastructure, security, identity management, and compliance best practices.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, efficiency, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- 7–10 years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on DevOps and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in Python and C.
- Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Git.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration tools.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and their services.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, and NTP communication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, English communication, collaboration, and autonomous project leadership skills.
- DevOps or relevant architecture certification, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, is preferred.
- Understanding of railway domain concepts such as signalling, power supply, or system engineering is preferred.
