Responsibilities
- Support and optimize CircleCI and hybrid CI environments, including self-hosted runners and executors.
- Partner with Software Engineering and SRE teams to improve build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Develop automation, platform tooling, and internal services using Go or similar languages.
- Implement CI/CD security practices including secrets management, image signing, policy enforcement, and vulnerability scanning.
- Contribute to platform architecture decisions, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
- Improve build performance, reliability, and developer productivity through automation and self-service capabilities.
- Mentor engineers and promote operational excellence across the platform.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with CircleCI or comparable SaaS CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD design patterns, build systems, release workflows, and automation practices.
- Software engineering background with the ability to write, maintain, and review production-quality code.
- Experience with Go or willingness to work with Go and AI-assisted coding tools.
- Strong experience with cloud-native infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code practices.
- Understanding of IAM, OIDC, secrets management, and secure software supply chain practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
