Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and integrate custom software components and applications.
- Administer Oracle databases, including architecture, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, user access, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide solutions for the immediate team and multiple teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and collaborate across teams.
- Lead process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support alignment with project objectives.
- Use database automation tools and scripting for routine maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration, including database architecture, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
- Experience managing database security, user access, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and provide effective solutions.
- Familiarity with database automation tools and scripting.
- 15 years of full-time education.
