Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications and geospatial components based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Build and enhance web mapping solutions using GIS technologies and frameworks.
- Develop and optimize spatial data models, services, and geospatial workflows.
- Integrate GIS platforms with enterprise applications and external systems.
- Work with spatial databases to maintain data quality, performance, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain APIs, services, and geospatial processing components.
- Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Produce technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, project managers, and international delivery teams.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience in GIS, software development, or geospatial solutions.
- Experience in GIS application development, software engineering, or geospatial technologies.
- Understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data models, and geospatial workflows.
- Experience with one or more of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, OpenLayers, GeoServer, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, QGIS, and OpenStreetMap.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, SQL, or other programming languages used in GIS environments.
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and international collaboration skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
