Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a high-performance, responsive Progressive Web App with offline-first capabilities, real-time updates, and cross-device support.
- Own features end-to-end from ideation and design review through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design scalable front-end abstractions and improve large, evolving, and legacy codebases while balancing performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers, lead by example, and promote clean code, strong testing, and disciplined engineering practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Codex to reduce repetitive work and focus on higher-impact engineering problems.
Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience building scalable, user-facing software.
- Have 4+ years of deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Demonstrate strong architectural thinking, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in large, evolving codebases.
- Have experience with JSX, modern HTML/CSS, and automated testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing.
- Understand SOLID principles, domain modeling, and design patterns.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in writing and have a mentorship mindset.
- Preferred qualifications include strongly typed TypeScript, React Query or similar API integration libraries, mobile development with Capacitor, Cordova, or React Native, and experience with Docker, AWS, and GitHub Actions.
