Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end ML infrastructure and pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation for reliable ML model delivery.
- Implement model registries, experiment tracking, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Establish monitoring, observability, alerting, drift detection, and degradation detection for production models.
- Partner with data scientists and ML engineers to transition research notebooks and models into production-grade systems.
- Optimize ML training and inference workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Use AWS SageMaker, Databricks, Kinesis, Lambda, Kubernetes/EKS, and Docker to operate ML systems.
- Collaborate with data engineering and software engineering teams to integrate ML services into distributed systems.
- Drive reproducibility, governance, compliance, security, testing, automation, and observability best practices for deployed models.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in MLOps, ML infrastructure, or DevOps for AI/ML systems.
- Experience with MLflow, SageMaker, and Databricks ML for experiment tracking, model registry, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with Airflow or Step Functions for workflow orchestration.
- Experience monitoring ML models in production.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD and automation frameworks including GitHub Actions, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Proficiency in Python and scripting for ML integrations.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and ML-related services including SageMaker, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, and Step Functions.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in ML production systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with data scientists.
