Engineering Division - GenAI and DocAI Engineering - Associate - Hyderabad
Goldman SachsResponsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of AI/ML models and applications from ideation and data exploration through rapid prototyping and initial deployment.
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate requirements into technical specifications and solution architectures.
- Architect, implement, and deliver scalable, robust, maintainable AI solutions integrated with existing Goldman Sachs systems and workflows.
- Develop LLM-enabled applications using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic frameworks.
- Transfer knowledge through documentation, training, mentorship, and pair-programming so receiving teams can own and continue developing the solutions.
- Evaluate emerging AI, machine learning, and related technologies and recommend tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Lead or significantly contribute to cross-functional projects and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on AI/ML development experience delivering end-to-end AI solutions professionally.
- Experience building and deploying end-to-end AI applications, particularly applications using LLMs and related frameworks.
- Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic frameworks.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements and customer needs into technical architectures and specifications and implement systems based on them.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and MLOps practices for model deployment and management.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts across organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or significantly contribute to cross-functional projects.
